1:1 School Peds Case HHC Nurse- Tampa: Wed, Thur Fri 7a-7p

NorthBay Home Health is seeking a compassionate RN or LPN to provide one-on-one nursing care for an adolescent male with a tracheostomy (non-ventilated) and feeding tube. This is a rewarding opportunity to support a young student's health needs in both school and home settings while building meaningful connections.

Clinical Setting

• Home and school support
• Patient is a wheelchair user able to assist with transfers
• Low-acuity pediatric case

Responsibilities

• Provide morning care and accompany patient to and from school bus
• Deliver continuous, individualized nursing support during the school day
• Administer tube feedings and prescribed medications
• Monitor health status and respond promptly to patient needs
• Communicate with family, school staff, and interdisciplinary team members
• Maintain accurate daily documentation

Schedule

• Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
• 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Full-time position

Required Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license (Florida or Compact/Multi-State)
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Current TB test

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with tracheostomy care
• Experience with tube feeding
• Pediatric nursing experience

Compensation

• LPN: $23 to $32 per hour
• RN: $32 to $35 per hour
