1.1 Novice Nurse School RN/LPN

Maxim Healthcare in Providence is seeking Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses to provide one-on-one nursing care for students with complex medical needs in school settings throughout Rhode Island.

Clinical Setting

You will work in school districts across Rhode Island, providing direct patient care in the educational environment. You may be required to ride the bus to and from school with your assigned patient.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for students with medical needs including tracheostomy care, ventilator management, G-tube feedings, seizure monitoring with rescue medications, personal care, and diabetic care
• May accompany patients on school transportation

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license for Rhode Island
• Current Health Certificate (per facility RN contract or state regulation)
• Current PPD/Chest X-Ray
• Current hands-on BLS card

Compensation

• RN: $40-$45 per hour
• LPN: $30-$35 per hour
• Weekly paychecks
