1:1 Bus & School Nurse (LPN) - Carmel, NY

Accucare Nursing and Home Care is hiring a 1:1 pediatric nurse to provide direct care for a 3-year-old child with seizure activity, non-ambulatory and non-verbal status, who uses a VNS device. You will accompany the child during school bus transportation and throughout the school program. This is a one-on-one nursing position offering flexible scheduling with full-time, part-time, and per diem options available.

Clinical Setting

• School-based pediatric nursing
• One-on-one patient care during transportation and school hours
• Patient-specific training provided by Accucare

Schedule

• Weekdays only (Monday through Friday)
• School hours, approximately 6-7 hours per day
• Flexible scheduling available
• Diverse cases and shifts available in surrounding areas

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State nursing licensure (LPN)
• Computer literacy
• Ability to complete nursing notes within 24 hours of shift completion
• Current malpractice insurance
• Completion of onboarding prior to patient training

Compensation

• $35 per hour
• Differential pay available based on education, experience, certifications, and work in high-need areas
